Took off on our first big trip in the camper, planned to do a lot of free camping ,but didn't really turn out that way. We headed off to Bunderberg & our first free camp spot was 6k south of Gympie, it was a very busy spot & very noisy, close to the highway.I'm thinking if all free spots are like this we will never get any sleep,lol.
Survived the night & took off the next morning straight through to Bundy & drove 15k west to Sharon for another free camp this one 3k out of town.Well this spot looks lovely but may as well be in the middle of highway, trucks speed past so fast the camper & car shook.Made the mistake of leaving our kitchen box outside, it was stolen, all the pots & pans ,first aid kit(arrrggg), tea towels extra mugs,table cloth etc, etc.Lesson learned trust no one.
Next day drove back into Bundy to stay in holiday park & visit with old friends. To be continued.......
